Simbang Gabi Mass & Dinner

Simbang Gabi is a Filipino Advent tradition celebrating a novena of masses culminating on Christmas Eve. Holy Rosary Parish will celebrate Simbang Gabi on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023 at the 5:00pm Vigil Mass. The Snohomish Deanery Choir, Lita Consolacion, Director, will provide the music for this liturgy. In keeping with the Simbang Gabi tradition, a noche buena (a Christmas family supper) will be served following the mass. The Filipino parishioners of Holy Rosary extend their heartfelt invitation to all Holy Rosary parishioners to join in this special cultural Advent celebration. The Archdiocese of Seattle’s 26th annual Simbang Gabi Commissioning Mass will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 at 11am at St. James Cathedral. Archbishop Paul Etienne will be the main celebrant of this mass. A luncheon reception at the Cathedral Hall will follow the mass. Come and join Archbishop Etienne and Catholics from around the archdiocese for this festive, colorful and prayerful Advent celebration.
