Have you ever wondered how we as Catholics can respond to human needs at the legislative level? What are the values & principles that should guide us on issues? Adrienne Joyce, Director of Policy and Communications at Washington State Catholic Conference (WSCC) will answer these questions and more in a presentation on Catholic Social Teaching and Faithful Citizenship. The Washington State Catholic Conference (WSCC) mission is rooted in the belief in the inviolate dignity of the human person, its tradition of service to the most vulnerable of society, and its firm commitment to a just and peaceful world. They identify moral and human dimensions of public issues in order to help Catholics and all people of good will to seek the common good. To learn about all aspects of Catholic Social Teaching with a focus on assisted suicide, IVF and abortion, please join her and the Holy Rosary Respect Life group on Wednesday, September 28, from 7pm to 8:30pm in the Pastoral Center.
