The development of Catholic leaders and catechists is a vital aspect of our mission to nurture and enrich the faith of our Parish Family. Through specialized training programs, ongoing education, and mentorship, we are committed to equipping individuals to serve effectively in their roles as leaders and catechists within the parish.

We provide opportunities for individuals to deepen their understanding of Catholic teachings, enhance their pastoral skills, and develop a profound sense of service and practical action guided by the principles of the Gospel.
Similarly, our catechist development programs focus on empowering individuals to become knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and compassionate educators in the faith.

By offering in-depth religious education resources workshops we aim to support catechists in delivering meaningful and impactful catechesis to our parish children, youth and adults
Through these efforts, we strive to foster a vibrant and cohesive community of Catholic leaders and catechists who are dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and nurturing the spiritual growth of our parishioners.

Catechetical Certification Program.

CCP is an archdiocesan certification program for individuals age 16-adult who are called to serve as catechists, small group leaders, or support a parish ministry.

This program is usually completed over the course of 8 months, with monthly in-person classes, a total of 24 video assignments, and a retreat.

Classes are offered at both campuses by staff and parishioners who have been trained and certified by the Archdiocese of Seattle. This certification program is a collaborative effort between the Archdiocese of Seattle and Augustine Institute Symbolon program.

Registration fee is $75 per participant. Scholarships are available.
